LAHORE: President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kashif Anwar visited Hailey College of Commerce and Industry on Thursday along with a team where a permanent Chair is reserved for the LCCI.
The LCCI President had a detailed exchange of views with Principal Hailey College of Commerce Dr Hafiz Zafar Ahmad besides visiting different departments. LCCI Executive Committee Member Fareeha Younas, Secretary General Shahid Khalil and Professor Sadia Farooq were also present on the occasion.
There was a discussion on promoting industry academia linkage to support the industrial sector, particularly SMEs by conducting demand based research.
Kashif Anwar requested the Principal that the LCCI members may be facilitated to avail new programs being introduced by the Hailey College of Commerce.
The Principal Dr Hafiz Zafar Ahmad invited the LCCI President to participate in the international seminar being organized by Hailey College of Commerce on November 14th.
He also announced to depute a dedicated room and a wall for the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Dr Hafiz Zafar Ahmad also invited the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry to organize programs at Hailey College of Commerce and Industry. He said that the feedback from the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry would be helpful to resolve the issues.
The President LCCI also visited the LCCI Chair in Hailey College, dedicated to the members of LCCI. There was also a discussion to jointly undertake various initiatives including seminars and conferences.
