KARACHI: On Friday at PMEX, the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 21.160 billion and the number of lots traded was 19,842.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 12.025billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 3.106billion), Crude Oil (PKR 2.054 billion), Silver (PKR 1.435 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.194billion), DJ (PKR 447.405 million), Platinum (PKR 434.150 million), SP 500 (PKR 171.621 million), Natural Gas (PKR 90.350 million), Japan Equity (PKR 69.657 million), Brent (PKR 68.301 million)and Copper (PKR 61.665 million).

In Agricultural commodities, 28 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR94.421 were traded.
