ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani is in China to participate in the 3rd Trans-Himalayan Forum for International Cooperation, besides holding meetings with counterparts from a number of countries including Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and acting Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi.
The 3rd Trans-Himalaya Forum for International Cooperation is being held in Nyingchi, Tibet Autonomous Region, from 4-5 October 2023 and caretaker Foreign Minister Jilani is attending it at the special invitation of Foreign Minister of China Yi.
During his stay in Tibet, Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that Jilani would address the opening ceremony of the Trans-Himalaya Forum.
