KARACHI: On Friday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 21.370 billion and the number of lots traded was 16,971.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 8.367 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 4.792 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 2.761 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.899 billion), Platinum (PKR 1.125 billion), Silver (PKR 999.334 million), DJ (PKR 919.876 million), SP 500 (PKR 177.669 million), Natural Gas (PKR 125.162 million), Copper (PKR 85.164 million), Japan Equity (PKR 69.447 million) and Brent (PKR 47.488 million).
In Agricultural commodities, 22 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 63.562 were traded.
