KARACHI: On Monday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 18.122 billion and the number of lots traded was 13,811. Major business was contributed by Currencies through COTS amounting to PKR 6.674 billion, followed by Gold (PKR 6.074 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.716 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.529 billion), Platinum (PKR 1.015 billion), DJ (PKR 420.390 million), Silver (PKR 277.343 million), Japan Equity (PKR 127.654 million), Natural Gas (PKR 109.095 million), SP 500 (PKR 73.311 million), Brent (PKR 59.388 million) and Copper (PKR 45.957 million).
In Agricultural commodities, 16 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 33.123 were traded.
