KARACHI: On Friday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 20.762 billion and the number of lots traded was 14,990.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 9.426 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 6.236 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.705 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.684 billion), Platinum (PKR 432.971 million), DJ (PKR 346.499 million), Japan Equity (PKR 289.248 million), Silver (PKR 161.805 million), Natural Gas (PKR 154.309 million), SP 500 (PKR 149.978 million), Copper (PKR 112.863 million) and Brent (PKR 60.889 million).
In Agricultural commodities, 4 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 26.647 million was traded.
