PAD distributes 9m urea bags thru e-fertilizer system

LAHORE: The Punjab Agriculture Department has distributed over 9 million bags of urea fertilizer through e-Fertilizer Distribution System which benefitted 177000 farmers.

This was disclosed during a departmental meeting that was chaired PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf on Monday.

It was further disclosed in the meeting that the system developed by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) intend to facilitate the agriculture staff, dealers and farmers regarding the purchase of fertilizers while ensuring timely availability of quality fertilizers as well as price control in Punjab.
