More than 1,700 people lost their lives, including over 650 children. Many school buildings were destroyed, leaving thousands of children without access to education, especially girls. The flood also had a big impact on infrastructure and economy, particularly in the agricultural sector. Right now, in Sindh, the date palm trees are ready for harvest, and the cotton crop is almost mature. If there are heavy rains, it can greatly affect crops like dates, cotton, nd other crops. It's not just the government's job to address this issue, but we also need to support the government. We need to protect our crops by strengthening canal embankments and improving drainage systems in cities. we need to stay united and be prepared for this challenge.
