KARACHI: On Wednesday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 18.767 billion and the number of lots traded at 16,299.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 6.683 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 4.250 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.716 billion), Silver (PKR 1.415 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.360 billion), Platinum (PKR 1.041 billion), DJ (PKR 575.376 million), Natural Gas (PKR 491.625 million), SP 500 (PKR 191.118 million), Copper (PKR 33.300 million) and Brent (PKR 7.585 million).
In Agricultural commodities, 19 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 17.818 million were traded.
