KARACHI: On Monday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 12.114 billion and the number of lots traded at 9,953.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 4.400 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 3.371 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.148 billion), Copper (PKR 954.115 million), Crude Oil (PKR 509.215 million), Natural Gas (PKR 498.159 million), Silver (PKR 339.531 million), Platinum (PKR 305.113 million), DJ (PKR 217.082 million), SP 500 (PKR 62.816 million), Japan Equity (PKR 6.239 million) and Brent (PKR 2.306 million).
In Agricultural Commodities, 2 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.897 million were traded.
