KARACHI: On Monday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 16.706 billion and the number of lots traded at 14,708.
Major business was contributed by Currencies through COTS amounting to PKR 6.068 billion, followed by Gold (PKR 3.866 billion), NSDQ100 (PKR 1.674 billion), DJ (PKR 1.531 billion), Silver (PKR 1.389 billion), Crude (PKR 1.332 billion), Platinum (PKR 312.863 million), Natural Gas (PKR 291.75 million), SP500 (PKR 171.203 million), Copper (PKR 52.956 million), Brent (PKR 10.48 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 6.507 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 21 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 25.507 million were traded.
