Agriculture, sports and education departments: Sindh PAC to review audit reports today

Sindh's Public Accounts Committee (PAC) would review the audit reports for different financial years of agriculture, sports and education departments on Friday (September 7), Business Recorder learnt here Thursday. Official sources said that on the directives of PAC Chairman Jam Tamachi Unarr, officials of Sindh Assembly had issued letters to the said departments regarding the committee meeting.
All the departmental heads have been directed that 40 copies of the working papers duly reconciled with the Accountant General (AG) Sindh and concerned audit departments, as the case may be, should be submitted to the secretariat at least seven working days before the date of the meeting. The departments have further been directed that along with hard copy of working papers, soft copy may also be sent to the secretariat of the committee as the same are required for the PAC MIS system in due time without fail. It asked the departments to ensure that the page numbering are legible and annexure is attached.
