KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 14.649 billion and the number of lots traded at 14,054. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 5.404 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 3.261 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.248 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.624 billion), DJ (PKR 682.816 million), SP 500 (PKR 484.710 million), Silver (PKR 401.983 million), Platinum (PKR 243.408 million), JAPAN Equity (PKR 132.880 million), Natural Gas (PKR 112.360 million), Copper (PKR 38.335 million) and Brent (PKR 13.736 million). In Agricultural Commodities, one lot of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.425 million was traded.
