KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 14.391 billion and the number of lots traded at 13,988. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 5.364 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.499 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.199 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.701 billion), Natural Gas (PKR 734.428 million), Silver (PKR 588.212 million), DJ (PKR 579.759 million), SP 500 (PKR 360.122 million), Japan Equity (PKR 240.484 million), Platinum (PKR 99.415 million), Copper (PKR 18.360 million) and Brent (PKR 5.850 million). In Agricultural Commodities, one lot of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.371 was traded.
