KARACHI: On Monday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 13.025 billion and the number of lots traded at 11,492. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 5.110 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.210 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.456 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.133 billion), Silver (PKR 875.109 million), DJ (PKR 732.818 million), Natural Gas (PKR 667.330 million), Copper (PKR 374.182 million), SP 500 (PKR 220.953 million), Platinum (PKR 181.963 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 61.307 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 21 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 27.621 million were traded.
