KARACHI: On Monday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 12.812 billion and the number of lots traded at 13,964. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 5.458 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.200 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 2.006 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.209 billion), Silver (PKR 763.277 million), DJ (PKR 541.622 million), Platinum (PKR 210.899 million), SP 500 (PKR 174.570 million), Natural Gas (PKR 166.912 million), Copper (PKR 59.916 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 19.671 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 4 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 4.852 million were traded.
