KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 15.281 billion and the number of lots traded at 14,738. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 5.362 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 3.154 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.648 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 2.076 billion), DJ (PKR 883.652 million), Silver (PKR 547.576 million), Platinum (PKR 204.411 million), Natural Gas (PKR 135.761 million), SP 500 (PKR 135.471 million), Copper (PKR 86.602 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 66.792 million). In Agricultural Commodities, on lot of cotton amounting to PKR 1.268 million was traded.
