KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 10.148 billion and the number of lots traded at 9,146.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 4.769 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.464 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.181 billion), Silver (PKR 937.832 million), NSDQ 100 (PKR 895.519 million), DJ (PKR 415.184 million), Platinum (PKR 246.183 million), SP 500 (PKR 124.129 million), Natural Gas (PKR 64.343 million), Copper (PKR 32.442 million), and Japan Equity (PKR 9.689 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 8 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 9.010 million were traded.
