KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 17.458 billion and the number of lots traded 14,570.
Major business was contributed by NSDQ 100 amounting to PKR 5.698 billion, followed by Gold (PKR 4.336 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 2.059 billion), DJ (PKR 1.508 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.424 billion), Platinum (PKR 644.710 million), Silver (PKR 533.048 million), Copper (PKR 474.605 million), SP 500 (PKR 381.425 million), Natural Gas (PKR 369.451 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 28.249 million).
In Agricultural commodities, 9 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 9.771 million were traded.
