KARACHI: Gold prices on Thursday continued to mount on the local market, traders said.

With a fresh surge of Rs3300, gold price reached Rs129100 per tola. It was traded for Rs110682 per 10 grams after surging by Rs2829.

The price of gold on the world market was quoted for $1863 an ounce.

Silver prices grew to Rs1480 per tola; Rs1268.86 per 10 grams and $25 per ounce, traders said.
