KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 15.241 billion and the number of lots traded at 13,743.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 5.316 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 3.223 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 2.480 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.569 billion), Copper (PKR 613.103 million), DJ (PKR 568.681 million), Silver (PKR 489.548 million), Natural Gas (PKR 483.955 million), Platinum (PKR 251.793 million), SP 500 (PKR 174.542 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 68.900 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 9 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 8.802 million were traded.
