KARACHI: On Thursday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 20.866 billion and the number of lots traded at 18,590. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 6.404 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 5.912 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 3.137 billion), Copper (PKR 1.289 billion), Silver (PKR 1.128 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 965.040 million), Platinum (PKR 893.895 million), DJ (PKR 722.522 million), SP 500 (PKR 217.686 million) and Natural Gas (PKR 194.305 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 2 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.348 million were traded.
