KARACHI: On Monday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 11.521 billion and the number of lots traded at 9,637. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 3.664 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 3.525 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.892 billion), Silver (PKR 618.327 million), Crude Oil (PKR 451.049 million), DJ (PKR 468.578 million), Platinum (PKR 429.148 million), Japan Equity (PKR 162.557 million), Natural Gas (PKR 111.984 million), Copper (PKR 100.031 million) and SP 500 (PKR 98.363 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 4 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 2.668 million were traded.
