KARACHI: On Monday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 4.333 billion and the number of lots traded at 4,582. Major business was contributed by Currencies through COTS amounting to PKR 1.439 billion, followed by Gold (PKR 1.421 billion), DJ (PKR 378.112 million), Silver (PKR 374.601 million), Crude Oil (PKR 308.373 million), Platinum (PKR 169.739million), NSDQ 100 (PKR 152.153 million), Natural Gas (PKR 45.460 million), Copper (PKR 31.096 million), SP 500 (PKR 9.070 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 4.464 million).
