KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 14.758 billion and the number of lots traded at 15,711. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 6.637 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 4.589 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.078 billion), Silver (PKR 914.560 million), Platinum (PKR 547.570 million), Crude Oil (PKR 430.830 million), DJ (PKR 191.188 million), Japan Equity (PKR 154.873 million), Copper (PKR 107.872 million), SP 500 (PKR 59.745 million) and Natural Gas (PKR 45.821 million). In Agricultural Commodities, one lot of Cotton amounting to PKR 0.635 million was traded.
