KARACHI: On Monday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 11.923 billion and the number of lots traded at 11,360. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 4.224 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.964 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.152 billion), Silver (PKR 785.398 million), DJ (PKR 543.074 million), Platinum (PKR 437.630 million), Copper (PKR 296.200 million), Crude Oil (PKR 233.600 million), Natural Gas (PKR 196.123 million), SP 500 (PKR 59.562 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 29.779 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 3 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.897 million were traded.
