KARACHI: On Monday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 11.598 billion and the number of lots traded at 13,809. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 3.527 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.812 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.812 billion), Silver (PKR 1.018 billion), Platinum (PKR 823.870 million), Crude Oil (PKR 589.270 million), DJ (PKR 583.748 million), Copper (PKR 187.627 million), SP 500 (PKR 147.836 million), Natural Gas (PKR 90.276 million), Japan equity (PKR 4.459 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 11 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 7.433 million were traded.
