Pakistan legend and Multan Sultans Director Wasim Akram is over the moon following Sultans major victory over the defending champions Peshawar Zalmi. 

“Great start to the PSL2018 and an awesome win by Multan. Now let’s get started and play some cricket,” he said. Multan Sultans defeated the title holders Zalmi by seven wickets in the opening game of the tournament on Thursday night.

Following the game, the legendary pacer twitted, “Great start to the PSL2018 and an awesome win by Multan.”

“All the teams look strong and poised. I wish everyone involved a great month. Time to give our Pakistanis at home something to cheer about. Now let’s get started and play some cricket!!!,” Akram added.

Multan Sultans will next face Lahore Qalandars in the third game of the tournament today (Friday) at Dubai International Stadium.
