KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 9.228 billion and the number of lots traded at 13,604. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 2.262 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.142 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.443 billion), Silver (PKR 939.953 million), DJ (PKR 899.478 million), Platinum (PKR 504.217 million), Copper (PKR 423.803 million), Crude Oil (PKR 374.362 million), Natural Gas (PKR 130.446 million) and SP 500 (PKR 109.413 million).
In Agricultural Commodities, 9 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 5.768 million were traded.
