ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has directed that only 50 percent officials and staff will work from home due to recent upsurge of corona cases in the third wave.
A notification to this effect issued stated that in continuation of Notification Issued vide No .l (135)•HC(G)i2021 dated 11-03•2021 and in exercise of powers under Epidemic Diseases Control Act 1958, and in compliance of decisions of National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), !he following Instructions I directions for !he Islamabad Capital Territory to bee observed in true letter and spirit.
The notification added that all types of sports, cultural and other activities and events shall remain banned till further orders; (b) all commercial activities, establishments, markets, amusement parks shall remain closed on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) other than the essential services as already notified; (c) only outdoor marriage functions shall be allowed subject to upper limit of 3DD guests and strict implementations of COVlD-19 SOPs; (d) all public private offices and establishments shall follow the policy of work from home for 50% of their staff throughout In federal capital; (e) any kind of Indoor activities shall not be allowed, moreover all NOCs issued to functions, festivals and public gatherings has been withdrawn with Immediate effect.
All earlier restrictions and exemptions shall continue to remain in force and this order shall come into force immediately and shall remain in force till March 29.
