KARACHI: On Thursday, at PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 19.601 billion and the number of lots traded at 19,951.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 8.642 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 PKR 6.021 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 1.814 billion, silver PKR 1.348 billion, platinum PKR 497.838 million, crude oil PKR 377.957 million, copper PKR 302.495 million, DJ PKR 291.980 million, natural gas PKR 161.881 million, SP500 PKR 124.318 million and Japan Equity PKR 17.896 million.

In Agricultural Commo-dities, 2 lot of cotton amounting to PKR 1.290 million was traded.
