KARACHI: On Monday, at PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 7.753 billion and the number of lots traded 9,026.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 2.714 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 1.916 billion, DJ PKR 1.036 billion, silver PKR 767.131 million, NSDQ 100 PKR 699.286 million, crude oil PKR 201.062 million, natural gas PKR 177.011 million, platinum PKR 140.261 million, copper PKR 71.019 million and SP500 PKR 29.506 million.

In agricultural commodities, 4 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 2.406 million were traded.
