Gold prices higher

KARACHI: Gold on Tuesday grew by Rs500 per tola on the local market, traders said. Thus, this increase of Rs500 in the yellow metal price made it reach Rs111000 per tola. Price of gold per 10 grams also surged by Rs429 to Rs95165 on the domestic market.

Gold was quoted available for $1844 per ounce, up by $20 on the world market. Silver was available for Rs1200 per tola; Rs1028.80 per 10 grams, and $24.24 per ounce, traders said.
