KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 12.584 billion and the number of lots traded 12,519.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 6.638 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 PKR 2.290 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 1.329 billion, silver PKR 1.036 billion, platinum PKR 434.234 million, DJ PKR 416.194 million, natural gas PKR 173.816 million, crude oil PKR 161.982 million, copper PKR 54.705 million and SP500 PKR 47.314 million.

In agricultural commodities, one lot of cotton amounting to PKR 0.582 million was traded.
