KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 10.596 billion and the number of lots traded 9,235.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 8.095 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 962.665 million, silver PKR 381.782 million, platinum PKR 308.463 million, NSDQ 100 PKR 277.156 million, copper PKR 214.251 million, crude oil PKR 184.801 million, natural gas PKR 105.830 million, SP500 PKR 42.300 million and DJ PKR 23.754 million.

In agriculture commodities, 4 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 2.327 million were traded.
