Gold lower by Rs100 a tola

KARACHI: Gold on Wednesday slid by Rs100 per tola on the local market, traders said. A slight decline of Rs100, however, reduced gold price to Rs112,000 per tola on the local market.

Price of the precious metal per 10 grams also dipped by Rs86 to Rs96,022 domestically. Gold was quoted trading for $1,874 per ounce, down by $3 on the world market.

Silver was selling for Rs1,180 per tola; Rs1011.65 per 10 grams and $24.26 per ounce, traders said.
