A Saudi man drove his car into the exterior door of Masjid-e-Haram on Friday night.
According to reports, the man crashed through two sets of barricades before finally smashing into one of the exterior doors of the Grand Mosque in Makkah. The car crashed into Door 89 of the mosque. There were no casualties reported in the accident.
The police have arrested the driver and have started investigations. Investigators said the driver of the car was a Saudi citizen who was in an abnormal condition. He is being referred to the Public Prosecution office, Saudi media reported.
