SpaceX’s Starlink satellite internet can provide 97.5% coverage in Karachi

SpaceX’s latest Starlink broadband satellite internet service has hit the market by storm, providing ultimate speed and experience even in Karachi.

The test run for the internet service could cost users up to $99 a month, plus $499 for a setup kit as Elon Musk’s space company pushes to offer fast internet speeds to rural customers with limited options.

As for Pakistan, a user, after testing the internet service in Karachi, shared his experience on Twitter claiming that at launch the port city will get coverage 97.5% of the day.

He expects that prices to come down and become inclusive very quickly.

Meanwhile, People in states like Washington, Wisconsin, and Idaho who signed up to test Starlink internet received invitations from SpaceX Monday night to join its “Better Than Nothing Beta” test.

SpaceX has launched to orbit more than 800 satellites of the several thousand needed to offer broadband internet globally, a $10 billion investment it estimates could generate $30 billion annually to help fund Musk’s interplanetary rocket program dubbed Starship.
