South Korea's NOFI bought 60,000 tonnes feed wheat in private deal

HAMBURG: South Korea's largest animal feed maker Nonghyup Feed Inc. (NOFI) purchased around 60,000 tonnes of animal feed wheat in a private deal on Friday without issuing an international tender, European traders said on Monday.

Price was estimated at $265.69 a tonne c&f plus a $1.25 a tonne surcharge for additional port unloading.

It was for arrival in South Korea around March 5, 2021.

Seller was said to be trading house Glencore.

NOFI had purchased about 13,000 tonnes of animal feed barley in an international tender which closed on Thursday.
