HAMBURG: South Korea's Major Feedmill Group (MFG) purchased about 65,000 tonnes of feed wheat expected to be sourced from the United States in a deal on Friday, European traders said.
The group made the purchase at an estimated $268.40 a tonne c&f including a surcharge for additional port unloading.
The wheat is said to be for shipment from the US Pacific Northwest coast in 2021 between Feb. 15 and March 15. Seller was believed to be trading house Posco.
