South Korea's KOCOPIA buys about 60,000 tonnes corn

HAMBURG: South Korea's Korea Corn Processing Industry Association (KOCOPIA) purchased about 60,000 tonnes of corn expected to be sourced from Brazil in an international tender which closed on Thursday, European traders said.
The corn was purchased at an estimated $251.82 a tonne c&f including a surcharge for additional port unloading, they said.
The corn was sought in one consignment for arrival in South Korea around Jan. 20, 2021. Seller was believed to be trading house Glencore.
