KARACHI: Gold on Tuesday slumped by Rs2100 to Rs116400 per tola on the local market, traders said. The precious metal also plunged to Rs99792 per 10 grams, falling by Rs1801 on the local market. On the world market, yellow metal price was cited $1923 per ounce, down $27. Silver was traded for Rs1430 per tola; Rs1226 per 10 grams and $26.44 per ounce.
