Pakistan reports 17 deaths, 730 new cases

Pakistan reported 730 new cases and 17 deaths in the past 24 hours taking the nationwide coronavirus tally to 285,921.

20631 tests were conducted across the country. There are now 16,599 active cases. The country also lost 17 more people to the novel virus taking the death toll to 6,129.

So far, Sindh has reported 124,556 cases and 2,290 deaths, Punjab has recorded 94,715 cases and 2,177, Balochistan 11,956 cases and 138, while KP has confirmed 34,859 cases and 1,235 fatalities.

Similarly, 15,296 cases and 172 deaths were reported in Islamabad, 2,382 cases and 58 fatalities were reported in Gilgit-Baltistan while Azad Kashmir reported 2,157 and 59 deaths.

Meanwhile, 1947 recoveries were also reported in the last 24 hours. 263,193 people have so far recovered in Pakistan.
