HAMBURG: Iranian state-owned animal feed importer SLAL has issued international tenders to purchase up to 250,000 tonnes of animal feed corn and 250,000 tonnes of soymeal, European traders said on Tuesday.
The tenders also close on Tuesday, Aug. 11.
Shipment for was sought from September to October.
In its last reported tender on July 20 SLAL purchased about 200,000 tonnes of feed corn and around 350,000 tonnes of soymeal.
"Iran has a continued import need for corn and has made large purchases this summer, especially from Brazil," one trader said.
