LAHORE: The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has announced zero load-shedding throughout the region on the occasion of the Independence Day.
However, consumers have lambasted the LESCO for its false claims, saying that a same announcement was made on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha but there were spells of load-shedding during the Eid holidays.
They said the LESCO has failed to manage the uninterrupted supply of electricity on every important occasion in the past.
