KARACHI: Reon Energy Limited has gone live with Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to simplify procurement and project management while increasing visibility into the company's overall financial health resulting in informed decision making.

Oracle's cloud-based offerings can be accessed via its modern mobile interface from anywhere in the world. Some additional areas that have been streamlined include Reon Energy's source-to-pay process used in procurement; the fulfillment of clients' requests and requirements, which can now be done in real-time; and the allocation and management of project resources. Integration Xperts, a Gold level member of the Oracle PartnerNetwork, implemented the project.

Commenting on this alliance, Saad Faridi, CFO, Reon Energy Limited said that embracing Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP allows Reon to load and store data from disparate sources in one location, which has enabled the team to extract more meaningful insights in real-time while providing much richer information access across the board.

Syed Azam Abidi, Country Head Applications Business, Oracle Pakistan has said that energy providers have a critical role to play especially in countries like Pakistan where high energy costs and regular disruption in supply are a major challenge for businesses to operate efficiently.
