'Naya Pakistan Housing Program': Mega-projects being inaugurated: CM
LAHORE: Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that provincial government will inaugurate mega projects under the Naya Pakistan Housing Program in coming months.
The CM took to Twitter on Monday and said the Punjab government announced incentives and facilities for the housing and construction sector as per vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan. The steps have been taken to compensate the economic activities which were badly affected by the coronavirus pandemic, the chief minister said.
He said that a Lahore Development Authority (LDA) project of 35,000 apartments worth over one billion dollars for the salaried class will soon be launched under the "Naya Pakistan Housing."
Development work is ongoing on projects in multiple phases in districts of Attock, Bhakkar, Okara, Kasur, Sialkot, Chiniot, Lodhran and Bahawalnagar, the CM added.
