Shah Mahmood, Pervez Khattak visit LoC

Ahead of August 5 when India revoked special status granted to Indian-occupied Kashmir, Foreign Minister (FM) Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Defence Minister Pervez Khattak visited on Monday the Line of Control (LoC) to show solidarity with the Kashmiri people.

SAPM on National Security Division Yusuf Moeed was also with them. In a video message before leaving for Chiri Kot Sector of LoC, the FM said they are visiting to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people who face the Indian atrocities and unprovoked firing on daily basis.

He said they want to give a clear message to India that all of its actions have been rejected by both Kashmiris and Pakistanis. He added that India will have to accept their right to self-determination.

"Kashmiri people will continue their struggle until they get their right to self-determination," Qureshi said.
