Urban flooding

LETTER: Army has been summoned to Karachi to deal with the urban flooding situation in the business hub of the country. The army has been called out to assist the civil administration.

This development shows that the Sindh government has just failed to deal with the situation.

It also constitutes a sardonic comment on the overall performance of Sindh government. There is a deluge of civic problems in Karachi following the recent downpours. It is about time the Sindh government pulled its socks up without any further loss of time.
