KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday sought a report from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on the status of inquiry against Manzoor Wassan, a former provincial minister of Sindh.
A division bench of the SHC sought the report while hearing the case against Manzoor Wassan, who has been accused of possessing assets beyond means.
A NAB prosecutor told the court that the bureau had completed its inquiry against the accused, and details of this inquiry had been sent to the NAB headquarters.
The court asked whether the inquiry would be converted into an investigation? "Chairman NAB would decide about the inquiry as whether it would be converted into investigation or not," the NAB counsel told the court.
